Our MIV Fact Sheets are in line with CGAP MIV reporting standards and allow MIV fund managers to publicize standard information on their products. MIV Fact Sheets are also widely used by banks and institutional investors to assess and compare MIVs, assisting them with decision making and MIV selection.

Monthly Benchmarking

MIV Monthly Benchmarking updates a set of key indicators on a pool of MIVs each month. Benchmarking data for the past 24 months is available both in graphical and data series formats. When combined with our Fact Sheets, the benchmark data offers microfinance investors and fund managers a key decision making and monitoring tool.

Annual CGAP MIV Survey
MIV Gateway

Symbiotics Research & Advisory performed CGAP’s Annual MIV Survey and Benchmarking Study from 2007 through 2010. In addition to collecting and compiling key indicators on over 80 MIVs worldwide, we also assist CGAP in defining and improving their MIV Reporting Standard guidelines. Our Annual CGAP MIV Survey webpage details report findings and includes an interactive benchmarking tool for MIVs.
Symbiotics Microfinance Index (SMX)

SMX is an index used by microfinance investors and fund managers to benchmark MIV performance. Data is available on-line both in graphical and downloadable data series formats.
MIV Gateway

SMX – MIV Debt tracks on a monthly basis the NAV price for a selection of MIVs with mainly fixed income assets and also offers a monthly third party valuation.
Luxembourg List

SMX – MFI Equity tracks the daily value of a selection of listed MFI stock prices.
