Palestine & Israel, October, 16 2017 - Impact investing means different things to different people, particularly in the contentious Israeli-Palestinian arena. One person’s philanthropist can easily be another’s colonialist or supporter of terrorism. Impact investing, whether it involves peace-building or more “regular” aims such as social or environmental impact, has its pitfalls, especially as lobby groups argue for divestment from Israel.
