Washington D.C., United States, April, 01 2008 - This conference will take place May 15-16, 2008 in Washington, DC. The theme for this two-day conference is Creating Opportunities and Building Value.

As emerging markets private equity continues to raise unprecedented funds for investment, we turn our attention to creating opportunities and building value in emerging market investments. Much of the investment in emerging markets focuses on growth capital, and that growth is carried out through expansion into new markets, sectors, initiatives and strategies. We will be examining the global economic impact of private equity, how Asia is driving the growth of other markets, which markets are truly frontier, developments with sovereign wealth funds and the trends in fast growing sectors, such as cleantech and infrastructure.

This exceptional program will feature prominent keynote speakers, one afternoon of geographically-focused roundtables on key emerging markets, topically-focused roundtables on issues that affect all emerging markets, and numerous opportunities for networking.
