Myanmar, April, 13 2017 - The World Bank is piloting a programme that uses mobile-network data and crop-suitability mapping to arrange seasonal loans using mobile money. But cash will remain king of the countryside for a long time, and the MADB’s reach (223 branches) means it has no rivals.
