Swiss PB Launches Impact Investing Fund of Funds

Switzerland, June, 26 2019 - Swiss private bank Banque Bonhôte has added to its range of funds with the launch of a new global multi-asset fund of funds focused on impact investing.

The Bonhôte Impact fund is run by Valentin Girard, portfolio manager at the group and head of its impact investing programme.

The new strategy invests in sectors and themes that address the key challenges facing the world today, which includess finding solutions for climate change, supporting economic development in disadvantaged regions, making effective use of natural resources and promoting access to health and education.

Commenting on the newly-launched strategy, Girard said: ‘Quantifying the impact achieved is central to our approach. We can show clients the real-world effects of their investments.’

The fund replicates the existing strategy that has been used for the Neuchatel-based group’s impact investing mandates and is aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
